In the swamps of Temeria, the Witcher Geralt of Rivia stoops to gather ingredients from a drowner whose unnatural life he just ended.

The Witcher is one of my favorite PC RPG games. Based on the stories and novels by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, it's a story-rich game with incredible atmosphere that you can sink right into. Though it's rated Mature for pretty much everything you can name, it does a better job than almost any other RPG I've played at emphasizing the consequences of your actions. Major choices can have long-lasting consequences that can change your gameplay experience entirely, and even small choices can come back to bite you much later. And somehow it manages to have superb graphics, cinematic storytelling, and slick, fast-paced gameplay on top of all this.

This minifig is based on your character's appearance in the first Witcher game. Geralt of Rivia, the White Wolf, is a Witcher - a professional monster-slayer. Like all Witchers, he was infused with mutagens that transformed him, giving him improved reflexes, resistance against toxins, and more. They also turned his hair stark white. He uses a variety of tools to achieve his goals, including a wolf's head amulet that is sensitive to magical impulses, potions to boost his powers and aid him physically, and two swords: a silver blade for monsters who are sensitive to such metals, and a steel blade for... everything else.
