Over the years, I've written many fan fictions and stories, but the first
one I ever wrote was for Star Wars. That fan fiction was removed from the
site for obvious reasons (being extremely old and poorly-written), but the
characters remain when someone wants me to sign-up for a LEGO comic on my
forums. So here are some of the characters I often submit, along with
their backgrounds from my old fan fictions...

Born thousands of years ago during some of the earliest days of the Old
Republic, Devrish was known far and wide as one of the greatest swordsmen
of the fabled Echani warriors. During this time, he fought for his people
and cemented their reptuation in the galaxy by quelling any injustice he
found on his own, vigilante-style. However, as his people began to wane,
he feared that one day their great knowledge of fighting styles would be
lost. So he entered into an experiment to freeze several indidviduals in a
cryo-sleep until they were once again needed.
However, eventually the chamber where he was sealed was nearly forgotten,
the only record of it existing deep in the oldest Republic archives. It
was found there by Palpatine, a Sith Lord posing as a Senator, who began
brainwashing the frozen inhabitants during their sleep. When the Clone
Wars started, Palpatine began thawing out the frozen men and women, and
one of the few to survive the process was the Echani Devrish. He found
that, as a result of the brainwashing, he could not even remember his
name; all he could remember were the ancient fighting styles ingrained in
his mind as instinct by his training. Eager to keep these teachings alive,
Devrish accepted Palpatine's proposal to be a trainer for his new legion
of Royal Guards, and he became known only as the Master.
During this time, Palpatine also sent him out on many occasions as a
personal assassin, disguised as a vibroblade-wielding Clone Commander
known as Commander M1 (or "Emwonn"). In this capacity, he aided the
Emperor in the extermination of Jedi, a feat at which he was very skilled
because of his expertise with swords. Many years passed as the Master
disappeared from the battlefield and devoted himself fully to training
Royal Guards. None could rival his skill with a blade of any type.
Eventually, however, he began to feel disheartened and unsure about the
life he was leading. When he that the Emperor had been killed by a Jedi
after simply dismissing his highly-trained Royal Guards from the room, the
Master finally decided to leave the Empire for good, forming his own
colony of former-Imperials on a planet that was far from the eyes of both
the Republic and the Empire. There, he continued training former Imperial
loyalists who were disenchanted by the Empire but still disliked the
Rebellion as well.
Once such individual was Justin the "Saber-Scorpion," whom the Master
named and trained in fighting with blades. Years later, when Scorp asked
the old Echani to help him train his new Saber Clan, the Master accepted.
Although he his quite old now and his reflexes are not quite what they
used to be, his skill with a blade remains nearly unparalleled.

Justin "Saber-Scorpion" was born on Corellia during the reign of the
Galactic Empire, which drafted him into military service at a young age.
As a stormtrooper, Justin climbed quickly through the ranks until he found
himself leading his own squad, distinguished from his troops by a
distinctive red shoulder pauldron. During one of his missions on a fateful
forest moon of Endor, Justin's loyalty to the Empire (which had been
shaken over the years) was finally shattered along with the Emperor and
the second Death Star. Disliking the Empire but still feeling some
resentment toward the New Republic or Rebellion that had destroyed it,
Justin joined up with a group of fellow former-Imperials led by a man
known only as the Master.
The Master trained Justin, who was so far only skilled with a blaster, in
the art of the sword and how to fight Jedi. Justin soon began hunting Jedi
as a career, becoming a bounty hunter who specialized in Force users, both
Dark and Light alike. He flew in a customized Skipray Blastboat called the
Stingray, along with his droids MG-16
and R2-S3. His signature combination was to wield a lightsaber in one hand
and a blaster in the other, enabling him to throw off an enemy's
lightsaber with his own and then shoot him with a concealed blaster once
his defenses were down. \
Things got complicated when Justin - now known as the bounty hunter
"Saber-Scorpion" due to his quickness with a blade - discovered that his
brother Ryan was in fact a Jedi. After fighting with Scorp and revealing
his identity, Ryan took him back to the Jedi Temple on Yavin IV so he
could be tested to become a Jedi himself. Scorp was soon found to be
completely devoid of Force-sensitivity, however, and the Jedi shunned him
for his lack of discipline as well. Scorp left the Jedi Temple, but took
two things with him: a suit of Cortosis armor he had found on a dead
Shadowtrooper in the swamps (killed by Kyle Katarn many years ago during
the events of Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast)... and a young Jedi
apprentice named Krysta, whom Scorp had convinced that the life of a Jedi
was not the one for her.
Krysta's former master, Kil-Korgai, hunted Scorp in order to find his
apprentice, and eventually Saber-Scorpion was forced to kill him, making
him an enemy of the Jedi and the New Republic. Now on the run from nearly
everyone in the galaxy, Scorp and Krysta eventually joined forces with
Scorp's estranged sister Jade, now the leader of a small mercenary band.
With Jade's help, they formed a new group known as the Saber Clan, a
faction of lightsaber-users that included Light Jedi, Dark Jedi, and
everything in between. Soon many others joined this group, including the
Master, a female Zabrak named Darth Cindiera, and eventually even Scorp's
brother Ryan.
Along with these founding members, Saber-Scorpion now leads the Saber
Clan, sometimes called the Grey Jedi, offering a home to anyone who
doesn't fit in with the starkly black and white factions of the galaxy.
