Jawa Sandcrawler

Sandcrawlers were originally mining vehicles brought to Tatooine by the Old Republic when they thought the planet might contain valuable minerals. When no decent minerals were found, the Sandcrawlers were left abandoned, and Jawas took control of them. So technically, that thing in Knights of the Old Republic you find on Tatooine should have looked just like this. Anyway, this old model was quite popular when I first built it in 2000 or so. I think it may have been one of the first custom Sandcrawlers on the 'net, though it has been far beaten these days both by other LEGO builders and by the LEGO company itself, since they released a very similar, but better Sandcrawler around 2006 or so.
