Lando's "Lady Luck"

The Lady Luck is Lando Calrissian's luxury space yacht, not built for combat, but rather for cruising... although smuggling with it can be quite profitable as well. It has been featured in a variety of EU books, and it also makes an appearance in Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, along with Lando himself (apparently all cocky smuggler types hold regular meetings, and Kyle Katarn, Lando Calrissian, Han Solo, and Dash Rendar are all members...). My LEGO version, while not quite big enough to be minifig scale, features just about all of the details. If you look on the second shot above, you can even see the tip of the lower gun turret poking out of the bottom.

You'll notice my Lando Calrissian minifig has yellow "skin." This is due to my fundamental belief that all LEGO minifigs should be yellow. Apparently LEGO felt the same way for quite some time, because they dodged the issue of making skin-toned minifigs completely by simply not making any black characters for a number of years. Finally, quite a while after I created the above minifig, they did release Lando as a brown-skinned minifig (alongside several yellow-skinned figs also included in the set). Soon after that, all official movie-based minifigs switched to skin-tones (peach and brown). That was, IMHO, a sad day in the history of LEGO. Besides, I still think my Lando fig actually looks more like him. Heh.
