A-Wing Starfighter

The A-Wing Starfigher is the lightest and fastest craft in the Rebel Fleet, and one of the fastest ships in Star Wars, according to the X-Wing series of video games. The only reason I'm including this rather lousy little custom of one on my website is because it was the first custom LEGO Star Wars creation I made after LEGO came out with their official Star Wars sets, and also the first LEGO creation I ever posted on the Internet (probably in 1998). Actually, the version you see above was not... it was posted later, after LEGO came out with their own version of the A-Wing and I applied their pieces (mainly the slopes on the front) to my own. So anyway, for the sake of nostalgia, here it is.
