The first custom LEGO creations I ever created based on an existing theme were Star Wars. To be precise, a very poorly-built and discolored X-Wing and a matching TIE Interceptor. These were built long before LEGO came out with their official Star Wars line. I stumbled upon the official sets in a Wal-Mart one day, and they took me totally by surprise (I didn't exactly keep up with LEGO news back then). It was possibly one of the happiest days of my life; I couldn't believe that my two favorite things in the world had actually been put together. Needless to say, I bought them all, and I built customs like crazy. The first creation I ever posted online was (I believe) my custom A-Wing. Since then my Star Wars fervor has died down considerably (mostly because of the horrid Prequel films and everything related to them), but my posting LEGO creations online has not. Still, here's a page dedicated to the theme that started it all.
