The Avengers

The minifigs shown below were created using custom decals (stickers) that I design myself. Don't foget to visit the decal shop!
The Avengers core team: Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man. Thor is based on his film appearance, Captain America mostly on the comics, and Iron Man on his suit in the second Iron Man movie. I would have tried to go for the movie appearance for Cap, but I couldn't find any good pictures at this time.
Another shot of the team. As a mythology nut (especially Norse mythology), I was surprisingly happy with Marvel's depiction of Thor and the other Norse mythological figures in the movie. Chris Hemsworth also did a great job in the starring role. And of course Robert Downey Jr. is great as Tony Stark - I've always liked Iron Man, since heroes with no powers tend to be my favorites. I also love power armor exoskeletons, and red and gold are some of my favorite colors. I've yet to see the Captain America movie. Somehow he just doesn't seem as compelling as a Nordic god or a guy in red and gold power armor. Still, I'm sure I'll catch it before The Avengers finally comes out.
And in this last photo, we see War Machine and Thor's helmet. I may do some more superhero 'figs at a later date, but that's all for now!
