After taking a long hiatus from building any Halo creations, I posted this
on September 2, 2005.

Since this is, as of now, my newest Halo model, I think it's probably one
of my best. I compared this to every LEGO Spectre currently on the
Internet, to make sure it was at least up to par with them all (in my
eyes, anyway). A lot of people made the Spectre in red and dark red, but I
stuck with blue, to make it match my other models.

Another reason I didn't make this red is because I was reserving most of
my red and dark red bricks for the Xarkon faction of Nova Refuge. The
Victorians forces have suffered as a result of my LEGO Covenant
vehicles...

The Covenant match for the Warthog, this is definitely the coolest vehicle
Halo 2 added (even if it might be the only one). It's too bad you didn't
get to drive it more in the campaign.

Here it is waiting for a pilot to hop in. It took me forever to get all of
the angles right. The back and sides are attached to the middle by hinges.

Some people tell me my LEGO version is too fat. Wow. Maybe they need to
play the game again - mine is actually a bit thinner and sleeker than the
actual in-game model. The thing looks like it's pregnant with a Ghost or
something.

The gun turret on this thing may look cool and sound cool, but it's not
really all that great in multiplayer. A shame.

Here's the miniscule rear booster. For some reason the secondary ability
for all Covenant vehicles is to boost. The Banshee even lost its fuel rod
gun this way (unless I just can't find the button).

Here's the bottom, if you cared to see it. Not extremely detailed, but it
works.

Size comparison with my Ghost. It's actually pretty accurate with the
game, if you check. I took photos of them both in the game side-by-side to
make sure it was right. Too bad all the pictures stink. Man, I wish Halo 2
would come out for the stinkin' PC.
