Slayer on Pinnacle
"SLAYER." - Halo Narrator Guy
All of the Spartans in the diorama below were submitted by members of my forum (SSLF). They will be credited at the end.Like my custom minifigs? Please feel free to make your own minifig with decals from my Decal Shop!

At first I was planning to remake the entire map of Pinnacle, which is itself a Halo Reach Forge remake of a Halo 2 map. However, I ran out of patience and just stuck one of the buildings onto the main "island" and called it a day. I call it "Mini Pinnacle" or perhaps "Minicle." It's perhaps a bit small for this number of players.

This is really just a way for me to show off all of my nice Spartan decals in a good setting. Aren't the colors pretty? In the LEGO world, the Fruity Filter from Forge is always on! And we wouldn't have it any other way.

The most common tactic used in Halo, I think is "run at guy while spraying with the assault rifle and then punch him in the face." It seems stupid, but it's pretty darn effective. And yes, the white guy on the far left there is using a MegaBloks Beam Rifle. As far as I'm concerned, that Beam Rifle is the only useful thing in any of the MegaBloks Halo Wars sets.

I got the Bulltrue medal in one of my very first games of Halo Reach. A guy was coming at me with a sword, and I gave him what I like to call "the old one-two." Charge up a plasma pistol, blast him, then switch to a human pistol or battle rifle and pop him in the noggin. It's also the best way to kill Elites (or Brutes in Halo 3 and ODST).

Funny thing is, Wolfy doesn't even really like assassinating people. She hates the whole assassination feature. I must admit, my favorite assassination-related thing is the medal "YOINK." It's creepy how often you hear some dude sprinting up behind you "PANT PANT PANT PANT" because he's so desperate to get his assassination animation. Whenever I hear someone sprinting, I turn around in panic.

RUMBLE PIT! Lone Wolves was the only room where I got my Skill Level to 30 in Halo 3... and it never went higher. That place is a madhouse! A madhouse! Best way to survie in free-for-all? Fight DIRTY.

A final shot of Minicle. Not the most elegant diorama ever.
Decals by me (www.saber-scorpion.com/shop/decals.php). Some weapons and armor by Brickarms (www.brickarms.com) and Brickforge (www.brickforge.com). If you buy from them, don't forget to tell 'em Saber-Scorpion sent you!

And now let's introduce our players. The red one is me, Sabre Skorpion (ODIN). I'm weird: I usually play as an Elite by default, and my Spartan is always female. Not because I think it affects game performance in any way, but just because I think it's more fun. I'm sporting the Scout helmet, ODST chest and left shoulder, and Recon right shoulder. I like the ODST armor bits because they have brighter colors than some of the other armor.
The brown one is my sister, MaverikWerewolf (MAL). She actually prefers the ODST helmet, but I wanted to give someone the EOD for the diorama. Her favorite Halo game is Halo ODST because of all the voice actors (the cast of Firefly/Serenity and especially Nolan North, aka Nathan Drake of Uncharted fame). Hence her tag of MAL. If you know anything about Firefly, you can guess whose firefight voice she uses in Reach.
Finally, there's my brother Ryan, aka Rycast (RYAN). He's always blue the same way I'm always red. He likes to play SWAT. He has the CQB helmet, recon shoulders, and that chest you can unlock through Halo Waypoint, the name of which escapes me.

Left: Norðleivur (ICE6) by SSLF member Niflheim (Niflkkoyar on XBL). JFO Helmet, Recon chest.
Middle: Jade (J118) by Yavakaro Defender (darthnatus on XBL). Named and colored after the Yavakaro faction from my very own Nova Refuge setting!
Right:
Natalya (D236) by Harrow (WhiteFox1337 on XBL).

Left: Rogue (RT96) by Slash-Predator (Rogue T96 on XBL), in a good ol' ODST helmet.
Right: Raven (R147) by Fireraven on SSLF (no Xbox Live), here to show you the Mark V [B] helmet.

Left: The Spartan avatar of SSLF member "508" (Revans94 on XBL), wearing the Pilot helmet.
Right: Cole (C352) by assassinfred (Agent00Puffball on XBL), sporting the Security helmet.

Left: Lence (A417) by SSLF member Scorchy (XBL name hidden by request), wearing Carter's signature Commando helmet.
Right: Aoi (A109) by Kenny (Kencen109 on XBL), sporting the Grenadier helmet and Breacher [R] chest, with robot arm.

Left: Joseph (B377) by Lupus Lycan (DawnL77 on XBL), wearing the EVA helmet with Dark Tan armor.
Right: Nick (N581) by Nightstalker580 (same name on XBL), showing off the
Operator helmet. Goggles by Brickforge.

Left: The Spartan (BLUD) of SSLF member Wakkomovies (Dead Easter Egg on XBL), using the Military Police helmet. The guy who showed me the secret path to Halsey's lab in Halo Reach.
Right:
Jean (A017) by Ter Loki (Ter Ramiel on XBL). Forum moderator and the guy who successfully opened said secret path for us. Seen here in the much-sought-after Gungnir helmet, with Grendier chest.

Darth Phaedrus (PHAE, left) (Phaedrus 94 on XBL) and his "battle bro" 880_ZERO (S088, right) (IL 880 ZERO LI on XBL), forum moderator. These guys are some of the best Halo players on SSLF, and I'm not even kidding. Both seen here wearing a reasonable facsimile of the Mark V helmet.

Hello from the members of SSLF! Sorry to all of the members who didn't make it into the diorama. I wish I could have included you all, but there's always next time.
