Download Patches and Tweak Packs

The Icewind Dale patches can be found at Sorcerers.net:

I also highly recommend installing the Icewind Dale Fixpack and Icewind Dale Tweak Pack from Gibberlings 3: http://www.gibberlings3.net/downloads/index.php

There are a LOT of components to choose from when installing those mods. I do not recommend installing ALL of them. Here are the ones I would install:

Icewind Dale 1
- First install Heart of Winter: Trials of the Luremaster (which includes the last patch), then install both components of the Fixpack mod.
- Now run the Tweak Pack mod and install the following components:
- Icon Improvements
- Force All Dialogue to Pause
- Add Bags of Holding
- Stores Sell Larger Stacks of Items
- Pen & Paper Spell & Level Progression Tables for ALL Classes
- Druids Use 3e Alignment Restrictions
- NWN-style HP on Level Up (or Maximum, but this will make the game easier)
- 100% Learn Spells
- Low Reputation Store Discount
- Unlimited Item Stacks (all types)

Icewind Dale 2
- After installing the patch, run the Tweak Pack mod and install the following:
- Unlimited Item Stacks (all types)
- Force All Dialogue to Pause
- 100% Learn Spells
- Stores Sell Larger Stacks of Items
